Dining with Diabetes - Washington November 2018

LSU AgCenter is offering a five-part educational series on diabetes.

This program helps adults at risk for type 2 diabetes, who are pre-diabetic or who have diabetes and their families/caregivers learn how to manage their condition through menu planning, carbohydrate counting, portion control and label reading.

Participants have the opportunity to sample healthful foods using the concepts taught in class. The program costs $40 and participants are required to register on-line by October 31, 2018.

Classes are held at the LSU AgCenter-Franklinton office, located at 1104 Ben Street 70438 on Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m.  Valerie Crile, RD, LDN, will conduct class one.

Classes start on November 6, 2018 continuing November 13, November 20, and November 27, 2018.
