On Wednesday, March 20, 2024, the LSU AgCenter's Pesticide Safety Education Program will be holding a hybrid in-person and virtual recertification for commercial pesticide applicators. This recertification training will be for Category 3: Ornamental and Turf Pest Management and any RUP Salesperson.

This training will be at the LSU AgCenter Red River Research Station.

In Person:
Registration / check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. and training begins at 8 a.m. Applicators must attend the entire conference to qualify for recertification. Attendance at this conference will extend your certification for three years, until March 2027.

In-Person Registration includes a provided lunch as part of the training. 


Virtual:
This training will also be held virtually using Microsoft Teams. A link will be provided with instructions for virtual attendance the week before the event. Virtual participants must attend the entire conference to qualify for recertification. Attendance at this conference will extend your certification for three years, until March 2027.

On Thursday, April 11, 2024, the LSU AgCenter's Pesticide Safety Education Program will be holding a hybrid in-person and virtual recertification for commercial pesticide applicators at the Louisiana Evacuation Center, located on the Dean Lee Research Station (south end of the LSU-A campus on Hwy 71). This recertification training will be for categories 7b, 7d and 8e (Schools, Government Housing and Antimicrobial Pests Management).
