A four-part educational series on improving your management of High Blood Pressure and health will be held at Goodwood Library– Main Campus on February 3, 10, 17, & 24 @ 11:00 AM. This program will cover the basics of high blood pressure and managing it through nutrition and lifestyle changes to improve your health and reduce risk of further health complications of Hypertension.


The program will be conducted by Tramayne Richardson, Area Nutrition Agent with the LSU AgCenter. Participants will receive all information presented at each class.


February 3, 2022 - Session 1: What is High Blood Pressure & Changing your Salty Habits
February 10, 2022 - Session 2: DASH Diet and Food Label Reading
February 17, 2022 - Session 3: Don’t Buy the Salt Grocery Store Tour
February 24, 2022 - Session 4: Mastering Meals with Flavor
