On Thursday April 13, 2023, the LSU AgCenter's Pesticide Safety Education program will be holding a Commercial Recertification for Categories 7b, 7d, 8e [Schools, Government Housing and Antimicrobial Pests Management]. It will be held from 8am until 4pm at the Louisiana Evacuation Center, located on the Dean Lee Research Station (south end of the LSU-A campus on Hwy 71)

Registration begins at 7:30 AM and Training begins at 8:00 AM.
Applicators must attend the entire conference to qualify for recertification. Attendance at this conference will extend your certification for three years from this year, until April 2026.
Registration includes the training and lunch will be provided as part of the training. The training will begin at 8:00 AM and end at approximately 4:00 PM. This training will be an in-person training, only.
If someone needs to become certified for the first time, they need to contact the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry (LDAF) about testing. The study materials can be ordered from the LSU AgCenter’s On-Line Store.
