This training is for individuals who wish to become a certified pesticide applicator. At this training we will review the National Pesticide Applicator Certification Core Manual. Each person who pays a registration fee will be provided a study manual and a study guide for the general standards exam. Applicators wishing to become certified in a specific commercial category will need to contact the LSU AgCenter Pesticide Safety Education Program to prepare for that specific training program. This will just be a review session to prepare for the exams. We will NOT be testing at this location. Testing must be done at an LDAF district office or at the main LDAF office in Baton Rouge.

Training may not take the entire time. This is an estimated time. The General Standards Review (Commercial and Private Applicators) will take approximately 3 hours. Other categories will be covered after.

Cost: $ 50.00
Includes review session, study manual and study guide for the General Standards exam only.
