A five-part series on diabetes will be held at the West Feliciana Parish Library located at 5114 Burnett Rd., St. Francisville, LA on November 4, 11,18 and December 2 at 5:30 p.m. The fifth class, a reunion, will be determined by the participants at a later date. 

This program helps adults at risk for type 2 diabetes, who are pre-diabetic or have diabetes and their families/caregivers learn how to manage their condition through menu planning, carbohydrate counting, portion control and label reading.

Participants will have the opportunity to sample healthful foods using the concepts taught in class.

In order for the class to be conducted at least five people will need to register.
