The LSU AgCenter Louisiana Arborist Continuing Education Program is offered as a service to state licensed tree care professionals (arborists) to satisfy their annual continuing education requirements. Each one-day educational session offers approximately 6.5 content hours. These sessions satisfy Louisiana requirements to stay compliant. License holders must attend a continuing education session annually in order to renew their license.
The program offers sessions in-person at locations around the state, and our program offers virtual options as well.
Late Registration Notice:
After January 30, the registration fee will go up by $25 for both in-person and virtual attendance.
In Person ($125):
Doors open for registration / check-in at 7:30 a.m.
The program begins at 8 a.m.
In-Person Registration includes a provided lunch and refreshments.
Virtual ($150):
Some trainings will have a virtual (online) option through Microsoft Teams. Virtual participants must attend the entire session to qualify for license renewal. Virtual attendees must use a tablet or desktop computer with a camera and sound. You must also have access to reliable, adequate wi-fi. You may not attend the session by telephone.
