On Thursday, November 5, 2026, the LSU AgCenter's Pesticide Safety Education program will be holding a HYBRID (both in person and virtual) Commercial Recertification for Commercial Pesticide Applicators in Louisiana.

This is a recertification event only.
If someone needs to become certified for the first time the study materials can be ordered from the LSU AgCenter’s On-Line Store. You are welcome to contact LSU AgCenter’s Pesticide Safety Education Program for more information about which manuals to purchase.

In-Person:
Limited in-person training is available for those that cannot participate virtually. Seating is limited to the first 40 registrants. Registration / check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. and training begins at 8:00 a.m. Applicators must attend the entire conference to qualify for recertification. Attendance at this conference will extend your certification for three years, until November 2029.

In-Person Registration includes a provided lunch as part of the training. 

Virtual:
This training will also be held virtually using Microsoft Teams. The link will be sent a week before the event. Virtual participants must attend the entire conference to qualify for recertification. Check-up quizzes will be given throughout the day to in order to monitor attendees and ensure participation. Virtual attendance does require a working computer with adequate internet access. A microphone and camera are not required for the session but they are preferred. Attendance at this conference will extend your certification for three years, until November 2029.
