Louisiana Home Citrus Production

Citrus trees should be included in your home landscape whenever possible. Citruses are easy to grow and, once mature, are satisfying. They add beauty to your landscape and provide a harvest of nutritional fruit for consumption. But you can't expect to grow quality fruit without caring for the plants. This publication is a homeowner's guide to growing practices and explains how your success will depend on where you live, variety selection, cultural practices, pest control, disease management and freeze protection.
